Each piece of Carón Pottery dinnerware is wheel-thrown and handcrafted from stoneware clay, and the individuality of each piece is evident. Due to the organic nature of handmade pottery, it is not unreasonable to expect slight variations from item to item with respect to size, shape and glaze, even within sets. I take great care to make each of the pieces in my dinnerware sets as uniform in size as possible and neatly stackable, while still retaining its unique handmade character.
All of the glazes I use on my functional pottery are laboratory tested, guaranteed lead-free and food-safe. The pieces are durable, oven and dishwasher safe and suitable for the microwave.
Sizes and shapes can be customized. Glazes on each piece can be mixed or matched to create your special one-of-a-kind set. Each piece is individually priced so the customer may choose the composition of their dinnerware set and the number of place settings.
